anywhere u can but remember if you get moved on, dont argue they are telling you to move for your own safety, if you see a wall, vault it, jump over it, jump from another wall to that wall, you can do many things with a wall and if you are surrounded by tree's, use them!. swing through them, time yourself how fast u can go and try and beat it, but the best thing to do is to work on floor level and work your way up that is the way all the pro's started out, so keep safe, keep moving and have fun!

yeah not hating, i i guess from my own personal experience, ive found free running a bit more dangerous then parkour, cuz as most people know, parkour doesn't involve flips. just know how to roll and break your falls, have good vaults and etc. FR is all of that and flips. so yeah. thats just my opinion, any one might have a diff take on it.. but i should've said it was my opinion.

i also started at 16, with tumbling. its good to have some sort of foundation instead of jumping straight into Free run cuz it involves flips and acro movements. but parkour is easier.

Did a cool move today in the gym. Similar to the palm flip but it's an inward flip. Do the inward as you would off a wall, but this time put your arms out onto the wall and flip through them and push at the same time. I'm not sure that made sense, but basically it's a front handspring up a wall. I think its easier than doing an inward off a wall, but probably not as cool looking.

An "Arabian" in the strictest sense is a backwards take off immediate half turn into front flip. The way Chase does it is more like what you described, he does his cartwheel landing sideways, then scoots his feet around almost pointing forward as he does the flip, kinda like a side somersault with a 1/4 turn into front flip... not really an Arabian at all. This is a good way? to work up to an Arabian, but eventually you should do the half turn completely in the air and not on the ground.

try to explain what are you doing...people don't see everyday a man who's jumping over obstacles or doing flips and stuff like that so they get suspicious...It happened to me too back when I was in my first year of freerunning...I live in a small town too...but now that everyone knows that I mean no harm they started slowly to appreciate the traceurs in my city for what they do :) just be patient and try to talk nicely to people, explain them what parkour or freerunning is in fact :) Good luck!

I watched a few backflip tutorial videos, and this is the most helfpul to me. The key is, not only that you try to jump straight, but also to have the legs trained to be lifted toward the chest region. I am getting the knack of doing this flip now.

It isn't that it's misunderstood, it's just that the student always thinks "back tuck, okay, go backwards." The main focus should always be about going up. If you jump and tuck, you actually will go backwards. When you try it, most people don't go backwards because they focus on keeping their axis in the same position, so they push their weight foward, keeping them in roughly the same spot.

just get out there and try it dude, dont bother looking for a tutorial. the way i see it, humans were built for this sorta stuff. just let your instincts help. just concentrate on getting over the wall, then try and get faster and faster, using more and more strength and speed each time. good luck dude, not that you'll need it :)

u suppose the technique for that is just to use ur stregth in your arms to pull yourself up so that u can get ur foot over. there really isnt a specific way to perform any move in parkour, cos its about adapting to the different obstacle. u dont have to perform a specific move to get over somethin. why not try rolling or jumping or even just running over the top of a bench instead of kong vaulting it?

The actual muscle up is all about muscles. Look up muscle up mango in youtube (yeah it's a crazy guy but he explains it well) that's how an actual muscle up is done. This is more a parkour muscle up which requires more momentum than muscle, but muscle is still required to perform it fast.

the way i do mine is after you see the sky and you start to see the ground in your perifials then open or split ur legs and touch the foot or toe of the leg you took off with down and then the opposite leg like just after that. hope that helps.

Nah the other name for it is a moon kick its like a flash gainer but you go over your shoulder and to the side more and that back leg is supposed to have a kick somewhat to get you ready for corks

not technically, an aerial lands facing the same way if your doing it right, whats different is how your legs come down! with a brandy your chest opens up to allow your trailing leg thru to land like a round off yeah? but with a-twist you jsut aerial, and turn over like a btwist, so you could say that theres an added twist in there (which there is, otherwise it wouldnt be called aerial twist!!)
