DONT THINK ABOUT IT! if you have seen the tutorials and know how to do it correctly you shouldnt have anything to worry about. the only way you are going to hurt yourself is if you have any doubt at all. Picture yourself doing it and just go for it. It may take a whole bunch of just jumping up and chickening out at the last second but eventually you will get it. Also I got the courage to do a front flip after learning a front handspring. good luck! =)

Everybody is capable of doing a front flip. Fear is the only reason why people dont. The best advice you can give for doing a front flip is to do a little hop while raising your arms as high as they can go and with a two footed take off jump, throw your hands down (like you are swatting a fly) until they touch your knees or ankles and tuck your knees in. The trick isn't how high you jump (although that helps significantly) but how fast you rotate while in the air.

@azzerst a normal backflip probaly. That is based on judgment more then personal experiece. I have only been doing it for a couple of months and i am quite close to the back flip. Besides i would imagine that you need to know the back before you can start training for the kick the moon because it requires much more force and technieque.

Parkour is to get to point A to point B as fast and effeciently as you can only using your body and you have to be able to get back. Free running is more free movement where u do flips and other acrobatics that slow you down.

no offence to any one, im just trying to help people learn: DO NOT USE GLOVES. the speed vault was not done properly. tic tacs do not have to be done OVER something. lazy vault was also done incorrectly. that wasnt a very good wall-run. tumbling is absolutely NOT parkour. everything else was ok, though.

Although a wall flip is a cool trick, it is not Parkour. Parkour is the art of efficient movement through obstacles. If you must name it, you could say Free Running, which is similar to Parkour however acrobatic tricks are added for aesthetics.

Heh. That's probably a simple sign of the fact you have not yet mastered the move and thus don't feel comfortable with it. The first way you come up with is usually the one that feels initially most comfortable, but certainly not always the best way to do something. When moving at a high speed, your hands might not even be able to reach the obstacle when it's already time to lift your feet from the ground to execute the vault.

No, it isn't, if you're going for an efficient vault - the point of the speed vault is to be fast, and the way you do it, you won't be able to maintain a good speed. If you have little speed to begin with, it isn't that much of an issue.

Did a cool move today in the gym. Similar to the palm flip but it's an inward flip. Do the inward as you would off a wall, but this time put your arms out onto the wall and flip through them and push at the same time. I'm not sure that made sense, but basically it's a front handspring up a wall. I think its easier than doing an inward off a wall, but probably not as cool looking.

I think this is probably the best tutorial you guys have ever done so far. I think the rest of your tutorials should be like this. With alot of detail, alot of tips, good balance of slow-mo and regular examples, and stressing again on the detail. The other tutorials you guys have done ar good, but they lack detail, I have a hard time understanding them most of the time. So, this one is GREAT. I think you guys should do the rest of your tutorials like this. Thanks and keep it up! :)

nice i started parkour at 7 years than i watched this video like 3 months again and im 16 now ii helped me a lot just 3 months and learned lazy perfect and on bigger rails/bars,it wasnt on the "basic list" but i learned kong and monkey too and reverse when i did it first time it looked like a lazy but than i practiced so much as it looks very good now than i did some pull-ups,push-ups just to be more muscular and i learned the wallpass and now im at frontflip thx for the advice very much
