being able to do a backflip depends on what kind of person u are physically and mentally, u need to make sure u have a decent strength to weight ratio, and u have to commit once u start the flip, since im always hurting myself doing things like this and im into sports so im well built, it only took me 10 minutes to learn how to do a backflip, but i need about a 2 ft drop to do it off of, point being there is no guarenteed time frame

Also called a front somme, this is a gymnastic move that is freerunning and not parkour. Note: You can learn this move other ways, i just think this is the safest. So don;t dispear if you don't hav a trampoline or mat. Just be safe when you do this outside

I you dont ha a trampoline do basic roll with blocking. learn blocking. later try it with a jump. Jump must be performed like shown on this video. jump up with both legs then land on your hands and finish it with roll and blocking. That why I hate freeruners. They cant do even the basic roll and allready doing flips. Start allways with basics

do it again and again... you can t learn it in 5 hours or so... you have to practise a lot. the specific musles have to build up and your coordination has to learn the movement program. that takes time... so don t hurry just do it again and again like i said. one day you ll notice, that you can do it alone without problems... @parkourmaniac87: its all by your mind. Try to dont think about the guys holding you and do it like they wouldnt be there. The other important factor is (as ever) repetition! Do it as often as possible so it becomes normal and is no longer a crazy thing for you and your mind.

do it a few times more with the belt... i think it s in your brain! maybe you feel alone if you do it without the belt... i dunno it s hard to say withouot seeing it... but keep on training. sometimes it takes a bit longer than 2 weeks... try to do it for maybe 2 months... try to train it every day a few times... but the most important thing is to not gove up! keep on practicing! Hallo, danke :D die Matte ist am Anfang zur Sicherheit falls man sich mit dem Kopf anstoßen sollte... :D Ausserdem find ich es leichter mich von der Matte abzudrücken als von der harten Wand. Der Kopf ist wirklich recht nah an der Wand aber solang man nach dem Abdruck keine Vorwärtsbewegung mehr hat ist das eigentlich kein Problem. Ob man es einfacher findet kommt auf die eigenen Voraussetzungen an. Wenn man Backflip kann ist der Palmflip nach dem Erlernen sicher einfacher...

it took me very long because i didn t had any clue how to do it... it was based on trial and error.... but after we made the tutorial the first 4 guys learned it in about 30 minutes... :D so if you know what to do and how to do you can learn it pretty fast.... good luck :D

I had a very very hard time getting up the courage the first time! I had to try and convince myself for like 3 hours to try it, and I didnt hurt myself. But I was on an old mattress in my backyard. So I would suggest a mattress or trampoline. You're not alone, everyone has trouble with that aspect, everyone! Good luck.

Idem, dit is echt veel te hoog gegrepen jongens. Geen idee waar jullie vandaan komen maar zoek alsjeblieft iemand in de buurt die je kan laten zien hoe je wel traint, zo kun je tenminste over een paar jaar ook nog van je lichaam gebruik maken. Er is in Nieuwegein een regelmatige training, je kunt eens langsgaan om met anderen te trainen die al meer ervaring hebben :) Tijd en locatie kun je op parkour punt nl vinden! Succes nog ermee!
