I'm just learning and I'm good at climbing on top of elevated areas but everything in my neighborhood is very fragile and breaks off Easley thanks for the landing tips I will try this with alot more ease

im 13 and my freind is 12 we have a construction site around the neighborhood and we did this jump from these high rocks onto this storage trailer and we mastered our fear of jumps now when we go down we do it like assassins creed we grip our hands on the edge and push off with ur feet but ur hands hurt when u lay ur body down to get in position forcing pain no matter what now after this imma get my friend tommorow and show him this,then we're gonna do this landing.ty so much i know alot now!!!!

@Zero0Commenter Your probably jumping straight on the ground. If you can, run and jump off the roof, that way your energy is going forward instead of downward. However, running and jumping is more scary because everything is faster.

THIS is what I was looking for. I was over at a huge wooden playground, and I mean HUGE... Anyway I saw a parkour group there and I noticed rolling was dead to them, they only were landing like this, and it seemed more efficient. Now i'm gonna do these when I land. They are easier, and faster.

@Zero0Commenter i dont know exactly, but try to pay attention to ROLL really as soon as you hit the ground. a common mistake (which i also had :D) that u try to absorb the impact instictively only with crouching, and then u roll after u landed. so try to turn a bit sideways and roll as soon as your feet hit the ground. hope it helps :p

Its really hard to do this, but practice makes perfect. But I jump from the top of my house to the grass, I even tuck and roll, and I feel the same pressure on my legs than not landing and rolling. What am I doing wrong?
