Heh. That's probably a simple sign of the fact you have not yet mastered the move and thus don't feel comfortable with it. The first way you come up with is usually the one that feels initially most comfortable, but certainly not always the best way to do something. When moving at a high speed, your hands might not even be able to reach the obstacle when it's already time to lift your feet from the ground to execute the vault.

No, it isn't, if you're going for an efficient vault - the point of the speed vault is to be fast, and the way you do it, you won't be able to maintain a good speed. If you have little speed to begin with, it isn't that much of an issue.

my advice is practice rolling back wards . start in a stand drop down to roll backwards and push to land back on your feet. when u get used to the movement and momentum then start trying back flips. oh and make sure you legs are strong and well conditioned .... peace

I love 3run just as much as anyone else watching their vids, but vientosolar9 has a point. While the BHS is a simple move, there are many important things not touched on in the tutorial. Such as the snap down at the end, or how wide apart the arms should be ( a beginner may not know they should be next to your ears), or where your feet should end up after finishing the movement, because many people starting out will land with them behind their body.

the idea is that you already have the basics down and so you already know the rest. I'm pretty sure this is mostly for confidence issues. You have no reason to try this if you can't already do a front flip, and if you can, you already know how.

I think this is probably the best tutorial you guys have ever done so far. I think the rest of your tutorials should be like this. With alot of detail, alot of tips, good balance of slow-mo and regular examples, and stressing again on the detail. The other tutorials you guys have done ar good, but they lack detail, I have a hard time understanding them most of the time. So, this one is GREAT. @agon29 Guys. When ya get out of balance and ya will need to move to keep it, just go up and do the handstand move over again. DO NOT MOVE! If ya begin to move, it wont make ya balance better. Just redo it and try to hold it as long as possible, and then redo. (; Train hard and often and ya will get it down smoothly

How long did you learn them? I'm training it for like 2 months every day and I still can't hold more like 3 sec. I don't have problem with strenght, I can do a push-up in it(with wall), but I always loose balance :-/ I'm 190cm tall, is it a problem? I'd be thankful for any advice, peace.
